Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its response. Marion County Court Docket does not keep or log the terms entered into those search fields.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When an email is sent to us, we retain the message so a response can be made. It is kept within the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a Marion County Court Docket page loads, technical information about the visit may be collected, including:

It provides general information about records held by the Marion County circuit clerk offices, municipal courts, and Missouri Case.net. Public court access is governed by the original custodian, Missouri Court Operating Rule 4, and applicable law, including the Missouri Sunshine Law, §610.023. This resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or files about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
The search boxes use outside companies. Information submitted to a tool is handled under that provider's privacy policy, not this policy. Those providers determine their own retention and sharing practices, which are outside our control. Review the applicable provider policy before submitting a search.

Links throughout Marion County Court Docket may lead to circuit clerk pages, municipal-court pages, Missouri court services, legal-aid resources, and third-party search providers. Leaving this resource means that the destination's privacy policy controls the visit. Review it before giving that organization personal information.
Some advertising partners may track activity across websites to deliver interest-based advertising. That activity occurs within their systems, rather than ours.
